This painting got me back into using paint in my creativity. I'd been focussing more on photography and drawing and digital painting up until this point. It was inspired by a photo I took of fish at an aquarium on holiday in Florida in 2003. I used a palette knife for 95% of it and a small brush for a few details. It's been one of my most popular images to date.
