September 27th is my birthday. Last year I set up our table with paper taped to a board with the art box and tools. It was actually set up for me to start painting the next day but I came downstairs after being up with Tristan to discover Max putting the final stripe of paint on this beauty! He has such a great eye for colour doesn't he? This would be ideal as a way to inject a burst of colour and energy into a room.
 
I was absolutely thrilled that he'd chosen to paint independently and on my birthday of all days! He came up with the name later that night when his brother walked into the room to see it. Cute!
