So much of Max's art is fantastically abstract but sometimes he treats us to a glimpse of his perspective of what he sees in every day life.
 
We have 3 dogs. We walk a lot. We live in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside and we're very often in fields. One wonderful day Max painted this. When he started with that soft mint background I had a feeling he was onto a winner and I was so right!
 
It is such a glorious representation of a field in Summer; complete with wildflowers and rays of sunshine from my Sonshine.
 
The frame I bought for it is a lovely soft green that complements it perfectly I think. It's currently up on our dining room wall to gaze upon as we eat and sit to play games and it's so instantly cheering.
