This was painted one blustery February day this year and I completely forgot to share it as it was at a time when he was painting almost every day and on this day, he did two paintings!
It was painted in quite a different style than is usual for him. Usually he creates a background then upon returning to it will cover the background with new layers all over, very intuitive, often without a plan. For this painting he seemed to have a very clear idea of what he wanted to paint.
He completed it very quickly, I think it was only 10 or 15 minutes. It's really shimmery when you see it in person thanks to the lashings of metallic paint for the background. Whoever the lucky person is that snaps it up first will get to see it in all its glory!
A3 acrylic on thick, recycled watercolour paper.
