Named Elizabeth after our late Queen as I was painting her when I heard the news of her death.
 
She's another one for whom I used one of my favourite photos as reference. She is a Gloucester Black Spot pig at our wonderful local rare breeds farm; Hogshaw Farm. She is a fabulous pig who has raised many gorgeous babies that we've been lucky enough to see when really tiny!
 
I was so happy with the composition of this photo and how the colours in her environment mirrored the colours of her body. She was a joy to paint.
