To me this oozes the essence of late Summer.

It captures a moment I experienced this Summer with a group of glorious Common Blue butterflies fluttering around the wheat field I was walking through.

I watched them for a few minutes dancing together looking for flowers along the edges of the crops. Nature really is magnificent.

As is always the case with my art, the process was so enjoyable. I loved the repetitive action of painting the ears of wheat, the stems and the butterflies' wings.

It's a 25 x 25 cm eco-friendly wood panel. Ready to hang.

There are two small flaws on the surface of the wood which are barely noticeable and why I've reduced the price a bit. Scroll through pics to see.
