Another magnificently-textured painting that just oozes energy and excitement! I just love pink and yellow together; it is such a joyful colour combination to me. Max painted the background to this with thick sweeps of marbled paint using his beloved palette knife on a royal blue base and created this top layer a couple of weeks later. 
 
He was so happy painting this one. You can feel it can't you?
 
I've added an image here to show you where Max saw the bouncy castle shape within his painting. As usual, it's hard to know if Max sets out to paint something or if it reveals itself to him as he goes, or indeed once he's finished. But however it comes through, it is magical.
